Your Boat, Your Jetty. The Ultimate Mandurah Canal Experience
Experience Mandurah like a local. Why just visit the canals when you can live on them with your own private vessel moored at your doorstep? Our multi-day hire packages are designed specifically for holidaymakers staying in canal-front Airbnbs or local residents hosting family and friends.
Whether it’s early morning crabbing, a sunset cruise, or simply having the freedom to hop on and off the water at your leisure, a multi-day hire turns a great holiday into an unforgettable one.
Why Choose Multi-Day Hire?
- Airbnb & Canal Stays: If your rental has a private jetty, you can choose to keep the vessel overnight.
- Ultimate Convenience: Skip the morning check-ins. Wake up, grab your coffee, and hit the Estuary.
- Explore Further: Take the time to head up the Murray River for lunch or spend the whole day dolphin spotting without watching the clock.
What You Need to Know (The Essentials)
To ensure the safety of our vessels and your group during extended stays, multi-day hires have specific requirements:
- Recreational Skipper’s Ticket (RST): Unlike our hourly daytime hires, all multi-day and overnight hires require the skipper to hold a valid Recreational Skipper’s Ticket. This ensures you have the necessary navigation skills for dawn, dusk, and varied conditions.
- Security Bond: A $1,000 security bond is required for all multi-day bookings. This is fully refundable provided the vessel is returned in its original condition and all hire terms are met.
- Evidence of Mooring: We take the safety of our fleet seriously. You must provide evidence of where the vessel will be staying overnight (e.g., your Airbnb booking confirmation showing a private jetty or a licensed mooring/pen). Our boats cannot be anchored in the canals or left unattended in public areas overnight.
- Area of Operation: Hires are restricted to Mandurah’s inland waterways (the Estuary, Canals, and Murray River). Our vessels are not permitted to enter the Ocean.
